We would love to have your family join us for church. What you can expect from a typical Alpha Sunday morning, is that everyone remains together for a time of singing praise and offering worship unto God. Then, just before the start of the sermon, the children and youth are excused to go to a class that has been specially prepared for them.
The goal of our teachers is to create an environment that is both educational and entertaining. When your child arrives at their classroom, they will be greeted by one of our children’s ministry volunteers. These volunteers have been carefully screened and are committed to the safety and spiritual well-being of your child.
Alpha kids identify themselves as the “Youth G.A.P.” The name is an acronym for the Good, Acceptable, and Perfect will of God described in Romans 12:2. The children’s and youth ministry is focused on encouraging our youth to pursue the will of God for their lives while they are young. At Alpha, we believe that every child arrives on this earth with a specific and unique God-given destiny. Our purpose is to help each young person discover what that is for their lives.
Wednesday evenings are a very special time for our 10+ year old age group. If the idea of church is new to your son or daughter, this is a great place for them to start. Pastor Gary has designed a youth group where young people will not only have fun, but will grow in spiritual maturity and character at the same time. Please call or email Pastor Gary, and he will be glad to give your teenager a call and invite them to Wednesday night church.
