Why did you start Alpha?
To make available a vehicle for those so motivated to learn in-depth the ways of God within a corporate setting.
How do you define “church”?
An organism of open expression to worship, relate to and learn about the creator and giver of regenerated life.
What is it that you are most passionate to see take place in churches today?
A New Testament understanding of the finished work of grace and to help guide those interested in the “Abundant Life” of Christ.
What is the driving principle of your life?
To help believers discover their corporate mandate rather than be captured by the “I” generation.
What is at the heart of what you do?
To help believers define themselves and relate to a corporate destiny.

Why did you become a pastor?
A result of an inescapable internal conviction.
How do you define “church”?
There is only one church, and it’s universal. What we accept as “church” should be a living organism, a community that openly worships the One True God, ministers to one another, and to the hurting and the lost.
What is your vision for the church for this generation?
Increased maturity, knowledge and understanding concerning Biblical truth that our minds may be renewed and individual and corporate destiny fulfilled.
What is the driving principle of your life?
Applying the principles of one government (Kingdom of God) while living in another.
What is at the heart of what you do?
A search for truth and a desire to help mature the people for the work of the ministry so the church may function as a “we” instead of an “I”.

 is Alpha’s Pastor of Children’s and Youth Ministries. Pastor Gary has been involved in youth ministry for more than 10 years. His passion is to introduce every young person he meets to the love of God and to model a life dedicated to living the principles that Jesus taught. Pastor Gary is all about building relationships with his “kids”. It’s not at all unusual to find him showing up at a band concert, Little League game, or high school play.
Pastor Gary has a unique way of touching the hearts of children. His love and compassion for the youth of today is evident in all that he does. Pastor Gary would love the opportunity to welcome your child to the youth ministry.
